Ever wonder
At the end of the last post I said something about random information. Since I'm constantly harassed for my habit of looking stuff up online, I thought I'd share the latest random bit.
"Fifth Column" refers to a clandestine group of subversive agents who work to undermine a nation's solidarity. That's all well and good but the real question is, "What are the other four columns!?" Well, when Emilio Mola Vidal coined the term during the Spanish Civil War he had four army columns marching on Madrid. But he had a fifth column already working in the city.

Very interesting. Never heard of it before though.
random fact: this might just be a macintosh issue, but when after I click on your links, they turn the same color as your background. Maybe it's supposed to be that way?
It's not a macintosh issue, it also happens on this library Dell PC. Fix it Justin!
well actually the visited link should be slightly different from the background of that box but i changed it for you people with old monitors. (i don't know if that's the problem but it could be.)
I like the color it was before much better. It used to be black. And now it's the green-pukey color like the color in your blog header. Yuck.
Mostly I'm just being disagreeable for the sake of disagreeability. Pay me no mind.
Well, a little. Pay me a little mind. Otherwise I'll get lonely.
Did I mention that I took Justin's profile picture with my camera phone and that it's his favorite picture of himself? Come to think of it, I should be getting royalties for allowing my work to be published on this Web site. You'll be receiving my invoice in the mail.
there. hopefully EVERYONE is happy now. if not, too bad.
i'll pay you royalties for your one picture if i get money for inspiring you to write (i.e. any time you mention me). i don't really have a solid reason why you should pay me, but you should.
